Hi, I'm Julie your Art Therapist

I am a Masters-qualified Creative Arts Therapist (ANZACATA) providing online and mobile art therapy sessions across Sydney, supporting emotional, mental, social, and creative well-being.

My approach is holistic and person-centred, recognising each person’s unique journey, strengths, and needs. I work with children, young people, and adults, supporting emotional, mental, social, and creative well-being through tailored therapeutic programs. My areas of experience include facilitating Art Psychotherapy for children and young people (ages 4–22), as well as adults navigating later-life challenges.

I have worked across hospitals, inpatient and outpatient mental health programs, and within the NDIS, providing both individual and group Art Therapy. This includes running open-studio Art Therapy groups, delivering DBT-based psychoeducation programs, and facilitating creative workshops in adolescent mental health and eating disorder wards. I also collaborate closely with families, support workers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic and compassionate approach to care.

At the heart of my practice is trust, compassion, and creativity, guided by cultural awareness, a safe and supportive space, client-centred care, flexibility, and transparency—helping people express themselves meaningfully and supporting their journey toward healing and recovery.

With a background as a Fashion Designer, I can incorporate design, textiles, and creative techniques into therapy when requested. I am committed to holding space for others-helping clients reconnect with their inner selves, build strength, and foster healing through creativity.

My Core Values
